If you have come from Lori Browns blog, you are on the right track!

I decided on a card, to show the new tools from Perfect Paper Crafts. It is the mini-perfect layers ruler set and the mini cutting mat. I loved the original perfect layers set so naturally loving the mini set is a not a surprise.

I stamped my image on white card stock, The stamp is from Close to my Heart.DSC00695

I used my Perfect Ruler on the new Mini-cutting mat, to cut around my stamped image. Once I have my center size determined I can then use the Mini-Perfect rulers. I always mat my images with a 1/8 inch black mat. This really makes the image pop. Using Perfect Mini-layers, I butted the 1/8 in. lip around  each side of my center  image.

DSC00699Look at how that just frames the image so nicely!

Next I start on my layers. I decided I wanted the Designed paper to show the most because it is so pretty. Also from Close to my Heart. So, I cut my next layer at 1/2 in. Just butt up the 1/2 inch lip against the black layer.

DSC00700next I thought just a thin mat layer in sky blue to pull more of the blue from the designer paper.

DSC00702Then finally another layer of white, this time cut at 5/8 in using the Mini-ruler. It makes doing this cut easy and looks great.

DSC00703Using the mat, I placed my card down to make sure everything lined up. It was so easy to make nice cuts with the new Mini-Rulers.

DSC00705Add a little bling and a small flower is all the card needed. I was able to do this card, with ALL these layers in half the time it usually takes.

I hope you enjoyed my blog post. Do yourself a favor and keep hopping along so you can see all the great artwork the “Brand Ambassador’s” have created.
