Time flies when you are crafting for an event! Before I know it, the 25th will be here and then we will start a new year. I have enjoyed making cards and ornaments, calendars and small paper craft kits. I recently visited one of my favorite websites SVGCUTS.Com. If you have a die cutter that can cut SVG files, you really should pop in and see what they have to offer. Mary, she is the artist, is such a great teacher. Every file has a video tutorial in case you need some help putting them together. As soon as I saw this beauty, I knew it was a must to put together. It is called Santa’s Village Advent Calendar. I used CTMH’s Sparkle& Shine papers(X7176B) I hope you will stop by all this month as I will be highlighting some awesome projects.
Hello to all you crafty folks. It has been a while since being ready to write. I took a bit of a break from crafting anything, but chose instead to educate myself a little more on different techniques used in scrapbooking. It seems there is no shortage of different ways to ink a stamp and transfer that to paper…neatly The reason I needed to stop jumping in blindly, I was signing up to do swaps in a couple of groups I participate in- without knowing the technique. I thought I could just wing it. Turned out awful and I wasted not only time but some expensive card stock to boot. In the upcoming months, I will be sharing these techniques here on my blog.
Along the same line of news….I have re-joined Close To My Heart, as a consultant. They now offer 2 ways to get started. For those on a budget, there is a 49.00 sign up deal. That still gets you a good deal of new products, your discount,a shopping website that is available to new consultants free of charge. That is a huge deal, e-commerce sites usually run about 25-49 dollars per month. http://creat-w-kat.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Consultant_EssentialsKit.jpg
I have always loved CTMH’s product line. The variety is good, I love the exclusive ink colors they have now. If you like to stamp like I do, you just cant go wrong with this company. I think the style is classic. I have seen lines that a cartoonish, and that has never appealed to me. The other incentive that was for new consultants signing up in May only, is the rest of the stamp of the month set’s from April-July. I am a sucker for free stamps! Just look at them
Generally, these sets are only available for 1 month. Normal retail is 17.95, however, if you spend 50.00 or more, then the stamp is yours for 5.00.
I was lucky enough to take advantage of this new incentive. I just love the stamps of the month. Some of them are just perfect for any occasion. These sets are no exception to the norm
If you are interested in signing up as a consultant, or would like to take a look at the catalog, just visit HTTP://katancheta.ctmh.com.
Happy Scrappin” Y’All
When I am lacking concentration, I usually turn to doing something that will keep my attention. For me, it is making flowers for cards, layouts and home decor. You almost always need flowers for embellishments so I make sure to a bunch at one time and keep my stash going.
I will be making a tutorial in the next few days so keep an eye on your inbox! Of course you must follow me to get the updates. Scroll down till you see the Linky Followers button, it is that easy.
